How to Send a Problem Report to Blueberry

BB FlashBack enables you to send problem reports with diagnostic logging back to Blueberry.

Log files contain information that help us understand the problem, and no personally identifiable data.

How to send a problem report to Blueberry:
  1. Turn on logging

If you started using BB FlashBack at v2.7 (released March 2010) or newer, logging is already on by default, so you can skip this step.

Users of older versions will need to turn on logging.

To turn on logging, go to the Help -> Support menu in Player and select the "Enable logging..." item:

(you can do the same from the Support menu in Recorder)

If the menu item says "Disable logging..." then logging is already on, and you don't need to turn it on again.

  2. Reproduce the problem

Restart BB FlashBack (Player or Recorder) and reproduce the problem.

  3. Start the Report

Use the 'Report Problem to Blueberry' function.

Its in the Help -> Support menu in Player:

Its also in the Support menu in Recorder. It doesn't matter where you access the function from - the same report gets sent.

If you can't run BB FlashBack to use the menu item, you can send a report via the BB FlashBack Program Group menus:

  4. Send the Report

On the Fault Report window, just fill in the description (and the email address if you want us to get back to you) and click Send.
