Video and audio encoded with Windows Media series 9 codecs should play back on most Windows PCs. Certain older PCs might encounter problems, depending on their version of Windows Media Player.
By default, Windows 2000 is installed with Windows Media Player 6.4. Windows ME is installed with version 7 and Windows XP is installed with version 8.
