Use this window to adjust necessary recording settings, such as display options, sound, file size parameters, and recording delays.
To show the Recorder Options window:
From the Recorder
main menu select Options…
or
From the Record window, click the
Options button.
The recorder options window has several tabs:
Display: Use this to set the Windows display settings during recording and how BB TestAssistant windows appear during recording and in the final movie. For more help see: Windows display options and Removing BB TestAssistant from your movie
Sound: Use this tab to select when sound will be recorded, and the format and compression that will be used. For more help see Recording Sound.
Keystrokes: options relating to capturing of keystrokes are set on this tab. For more help see Capturing Keystrokes.
Hotkey: Select this to define a hotkey that can be used to make the recording controls pop-up window appear during recording. For more help see: Defining and using hotkeys
File Size: Use this tab to select options to limit the size of the movie file produced. For more help see: Limiting the movie file size
Misc: this tab contain settings relating to startup options and the various delays that BB TestAssistant inserts between certain operations at the start of recording. For more help see: Customising delays
Record mode: Use this tab to change your recording mode or the number of frames captured per second. For more help see Recording modes and Performance.
Advanced: this tab contains advanced settings relating mainly to performance.
