When you run BB TestAssistant from the BB TestAssistant start button menus it appears as an icon in the system tray:
Right click on the Recorder tray icon to show the main menu.
Recorder Main Menu
From this menu you can show the recording options window, record a new movie, create a report or play your recently recorded movies.
When you are recording a movie, this menu can be used to pause or stop recording.
The menu items from top to bottom:
Recently recorded movie list: This list is always at the top of the menu. It shows the names of the previous ten movie files that you have created. Each file has a pop out menu that contains a number of options to enable you to play, edit or re-record it. For more help see Movie file sub-menu.
Clear List: Clears the recently recorded movie list.
Delete All: Deletes all the movies in the recently recorded list.
Record: Shows the Record window, where you can set the filename and information summary for the movie you will to record.
Record New: Starts recording immediately, creating a movie file with the name indicated. In the screenshot above a movie file with the name Untitled46.fbr would be created.
Options: Shows the Recorder Options window.
Create Report: Starts a wizard which allows you to easily select movie files and attach them to an email.
Buying a licence: Shows the help page for purchasing a licence for BB TestAssistant.
Help: Shows the BB TestAssistant help file you are currently viewing.
Language: Selects the language that BB TestAssistant will use for its menu and window text.
Buy BB TestAssistant: Select this item to either enter a licence key you have already purchased from Blueberry Consultants or to view pages from the BB TestAssistant website that allow you to buy a licence online. See Buying a licence for more help.
Check for updates: Select this item to check the Blueberry website for newer versions of BB TestAssistant.
About: Displays the About box. From this window BB TestAssistant can be registered and purchased.
Exit: Closes the BB TestAssistant Recorder application.
There are three other items on the menu above that are not enabled: Pause, Add Bookmark and Stop. These are only available when a movie is being recorded.
