Recording
Windows 2000 or Windows XP are required to record in the highest performance mode.
If you are running Windows 98, ME or NT4 you will still be able to record, but the performance impact on your PC while recording will be greater.
Playback
DirectX 7.0 is required to play back movies. If you see a warning message regarding your version of DirectX when you try to view a movie, you should browse to www.microsoft.com/directx and download the latest version of the DirectX runtime for your Operating System.
Export to MS Powerpoint
MS Office 2000 or newer (including Powerpoint) must be installed in order to export to MS Powerpoint format.
Export to Windows Media Video (WMV)
Windows Media Player 9 or newer needs to be installed in order to export to WMV format.
