While it records, BB TestAssistant can watch to see if applications generate a severe error. If it detects any, it can give you the option to create a movie of the minutes leading up to the error. BB TestAssistant can watch for access violations and unhandled exceptions.
How to automatically create movies of severe application errors:
First, make sure the feature is switched on in BB TestAssistant:
Start Recorder and open the Options window via the main menu.
Go to the Misc tab and make sure that the Catch application errors box is checked.
Start recording with BB TestAssistant.
Use your other applications as you normally would. When BB TestAssistant detects an error it will ask you whether you want to save or open the movie as usual.
