Flash is a file format commonly used on the Internet to display movies and animations. Because Flash movies can easily be viewed on most modern Internet browsers, it is an ideal format to use when distributing movies recorded by BB FlashBack Express to PC or Macintosh users that do not have the BB FlashBack Express application installed.
How to export a movie to Flash format:
On the Player main menu,
select the Export to Flash item
on the File menu.
Or
On the File toolbar, click
the Flash Export button:
If required, change the Flash export options from the default settings. For more help see Flash export options.
Click Export
Provide a file name for the new Flash movie file and click Save to save the movie to that name.
The export process creates two files:
A Flash file which contains the exported movie.
An HTML file which should be opened in an Internet browser to display the Flash movie file. This HTML file is included because PC users will not normally be able to open and view the Flash file straight from Windows Explorer.
The name of the Flash file will end in .swf and the HTML file name will end in .html, but the first part of their file names will be the same. For example, if you saved your movie to a Flash file called MyMovie.swf, there will be a matching HTML file called MyMovie.html.
To view the Flash movie, open the HTML file by double-clicking it in Windows Explorer.
When sending a Flash movie to another PC user, both of these files should be sent.
