BB FlashBack includes a built in utility for reporting problems that occur during its execution. This utility automates the gathering of information about your PC configuration and the recent execution of BB FlashBack – information that will be useful to Blueberry when tracking down the cause of the problem.
Simply by selecting an item on the BB FlashBack menus or program group, this information will be attached to an email to Blueberry Consultants. All you need do is give a description of the problem.
Note: For users of Blueberry’s Bug Reporter application, BB FlashBack problem reporting integrates with this program, to create a new bug report.
To be able to send a record of its recent execution, BB FlashBack needs to have Logging switched on. By default, Logging is switched off.
How to turn on logging in BB FlashBack:
Go to the TroubleShooting submenu in the Help menu of Player or Recorder.
The top item of that submenu allows you to enable or disable logging, depending on whether logging is current enabled.
Or
Select the item Enable/Disable Logging from the TroubleShooting menu in the BB FlashBack program group.
How to report a problem with BB FlashBack to Blueberry Consultants:
Ensure that Logging was switched on when the problem occurred. If it was not, turn on Logging, restart BB FlashBack Player or Recorder and try to reproduce the problem.
Select the Report Problem to Blueberry item from the Help -> TroubleShooting menu.
Or
Select the Report Problem to Blueberry item from the TroubleShooting menu in the BB FlashBack program group.
Your default email application will show a window that contains
a new message. Attached to this message will be a number of files that
contain information on your PC configuration and recent execution logs
recorded by BB FlashBack.
Type a description of the problem into the message body.
Send the mail as you normally would, using your email application.
