Recording windows and regions

BB FlashBack can record either the entire Windows desktop or only a single window or rectangular region. You choose whether to record the entire desktop or a region on the Record window.

How to record a single window or region:

1. Select Record from the Recorder main menu.

2. Select the Region or window option for Recording Area and click the OK button.

3. The Recorder Frame window will appear. Everything within the purple frame will be recorded.

4. To record a specific window, drag the target icon from the Recorder Frame toolbar onto the title bar of a window. The purple frame will resize itself to surround the window.

   To record a region of the desktop, simply move and resize the purple frame to enclose the desired area.

5. Click the Record button on the Recorder Frame toolbar. BB FlashBack will record as usual.

6. When you are finished, click the Stop button on the Recorder Frame toolbar.  

Note: the size and position of the recorder frame window cannot be changed during recording.
