Flash movie is wrong dimensions or doesn't appear clearly (BB FlashBack version 1.5 only)
BB FlashBack Version 1.5 only:
This is probably because you are opening the SWF file instead of the HTML file that was generated by BB FlashBack.

When exporting to Flash format, BB FlashBack creates two files: an SWF file and an HTML file. If you open the SWF file directly in your web browser, the movie will be stretched to fit the browser window instead of being displayed at the size specified when exporting. You should open the HTML file, which displays the SWF file at the correct size and best quality.

Be aware that if you are sending the Flash movie to another PC user, you need to send the HTML and SWF files, and ask them to open the HTML file.

Program reports “more frames than Flash supports” when exporting to Flash.

Flash format has a limit of 16,000 frames per SWF file. This limit is not set by the BB FlashBack program. 16,000 frames is roughly the equivalent of ten minutes of BB FlashBack footage (using FlashBack’s default framerate of 25 frames per second).

If you try to export a FlashBack movie to Flash which would produce a SWF file of over 16,000 frames, BB FlashBack will automatically decrease the frames per second, to reduce the total number of frames in the movie.

You can decrease the frames per second yourself on the Export Options window.

You could try to export as AVI, WMV or EXE formats - these have no such limits on frames.

Or, you could edit the movie into shorter sections, and export each of these to Flash individually.

AVI / WMV movie will not play.

When you export to AVI or WMV, the AVI/WMV file is created by a "codec", like DivX or Cinepak. To play back an AVI file, a PC usually needs to use the same codec that was used to export it. Otherwise it can't understand the movie file.

If you export an AVI or WMV file, and this will not play on a particular computer, check that the correct codec is installed on that PC.

Sounds do not play correctly after exporting to another, non-FBR, movie format.
This problem can occur if sound files were imported into the FlashBack player that are of an unsupported format or codec. For best results, please use WAV or MP3 files.

Pauses in movie do not work in WMV or AVI formats.

WMV and AVI formats do not support any kind of interactivity - they play from start to finish.

EXE and Flash formats can contain interactive buttons that pause and continue playback, or open a webpage.

If your movie contains buttons or other interactive objects and you export to AVI or WMV, BB FlashBack will show a warning, since interactive objects are not supported by those export formats.

My Flash movies do not play.

Renaming your Flash files or editing the HTML exported from BB FlashBack can cause your Flash files to stop playing successfully. If you get into problems then simply export your FBR movie to Flash format again to obtain a working file.

You can also check that you have the Flash plug-in installed. This is required to play Flash movies, and you will usually be prompted with an option to install the plug-in when trying to play a Flash movie on a computer without the plug-in installed.

Will the 'created by' image still appear when I buy the product?
No - the 'created by' image will only appear in exports made by an unlicenced version of BB FlashBack. Once the product is licenced, the image won't appear in your exports.
